Areas of research
Research projects at the Centre de recherche de l'IPPM focus on four major themes. However, considering the interdisciplinary aspect of its research, each project inevitably has a positive impact on the others.

Development of assessment tools and methodologies applied to the study of mental disorders and violent behaviour.
- Second theme
Study of the clinical, psychosocial and environmental factors related to mental disorders and violent behaviour.

Assessment of needs, services and practices related to mental disorders and violent behaviour.

Study of the neurochemical, neurological, neuropsychological and psychophysiological aspects of violent behaviour.
