Local Service Quality and Complaints Commissioner

A vigilant role

 

The mandate of the Commissioner is to receive and handle complaints concerning the care and services provided at the Institut.

The Commissioner is also responsible for ensuring that users' rights are respected and that complaints are diligently processed. The main roles of this position consist in:

  • Investigating written or verbal complaints filed by users.
  • Helping users formulate complaints and taking any necessary steps to investigate these complaints.

The Commissioner has the authority to recommend any measure that can improve the quality of user services or the protection of user rights.

 

All of the Commissioner's conclusions and, if applicable, recommendations and intervention reports are communicated to the Board of Directors of the Institut Philippe-Pinel de Montréal.
